Dr. Jin Zhang is a full professor at the School of Information Studies,University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, U.S.A. He received his B.S and M.S in Wuhan University, his Ph.D. from School of Information Sciences, the University of Pittsburgh. He has published extensively in prominent journals in the field of information science such as Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, Information Processing & Management, Journal of Documentation, Journal of Information Science, Information Retrieval, IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Journal of Intelligent Information Systems, Scientometrics, Informatics,Information Research, BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making,Journal of Global Information Management, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Electronic Library, Online Information Review, etc. His book “Visualization for Information Retrieval” was published in the Information Retrieval Series by Springer in 2008.
